Old School Rhyme and Route 66

(From my Route 66 Trip)
This is the barn that Jack built.

This is the malt
That lay in the barn that Jack built.

This is the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the barn that Jack built.

This is the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the barn that Jack built.

This is the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
lay in the barn that Jack built.

This is the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the barn that Jack built.

This is the maiden all forlorn
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the barn that Jack built. This is the maiden all forlorn,

This is the man all tattered and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the barn that Jack built.

This is the priest all shaven and shorn,
That married the man all tattered and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the barn that Jack built.

This is the cock that crowed in the morn,
That waked the priest all shaven and shorn,
That married the man all tattered and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the barn that Jack built.

This is the farmer sowing his corn,
That kept the cock that crowed in the morn,
That waked the priest all shaven and shorn,
That married the man all tattered and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the barn that Jack built.

( Pics taken along Route 66 and the old school rhyme "This is the house that Jack built" that I was reciting in the trip.  The first pic is the Arcadia Barn-MS,  which is a historic site and was used as a milestone during the 50's . Few pics (the dog and the lady) are from Seligman-AZ, the rat and the malt is from the google search results, the cat was near old highway 58, the cock and the cow were board signs along the way, the man was seen walking down the freeway-IL, the priest is from a street motif@SaltLakeCity, Utah and the farmer is from ghost-town of Calico-CA )
